Born in New Zealand from frustration with harsh, streaky formulas, Tropic Tan blends self-tanning actives with powerhouse skin care like PENTAVITIN®, Hyaluronic Acid, Aloe Vera, Acai Berry and Coffee Seed Extract. The result? A rich, natural bronze that looks flawless, feels soft, and fades beautifully.

Our Story

 

With 15 years of tanning experience, I can safely say I've tried almost every product on the market. As I got older, I became abundantly aware of the products I was using on my skin. I became sick and tired of using chemical heavy products that had a negative impact on my skin.

So, I've created a brand that encompasses everything I’ve searched for as a consumer in the tanning industry. A brand that not only focused on the perfect glow to give me confidence but also one that truly cared about what I was putting on my skin. 

Alas Tropic Tan was born. 

Tropic Tan was born from the desire to revolutionize the self-tanning industry. We saw a gap in the market for products that could deliver a beautiful tan while also caring for the skin. This led us to develop a unique self-tanner infused with powerful skincare ingredients, offering a transformative tanning experience.

Our ‘bronzing mousse’ is our first product that has been perfected for 18 months. It is filled with exciting new ingredients like PENTAVITIN® peptide - which does so many good things for your skin and Aloe Vera, Acai Extract, Coffee Seed Extract and Hyaluronic Acid, just to name a few. The application process has been curated to perfection, with each tan giving an even and hydrating coverage.
